Motorola has a pretty decent 2 year warranty, with good phone support even through this Novel Corona-virus causing many companies to lessen customer support.
This is a solid modem that saves me $185 every year with Comcast.
It’s interesting as I had Comcast service 12 years ago and back then one could own their own modem to save you $15, but they would charge you the same $15 for the access card a month. I went back to Comcast as Frontier is at deaths door. These days Comcast doesn’t charge for the access card as the FCC put the kibosh on cable companies being in the cable rental business. At the end of the day, this Motorola’s paid for itself twice over and still counting.

Netgear is actually VERY good. The problem is if you didn’t take advantage 24hr support and it ran out, it will now cost about $300 for support online.
